AND that's a wrap folk! WOW! We did THAT!
The Spring 2022 semester is over and we made endless memories with you all! La Mesa and The TLC's would like to thank you all for showing up, showing out, and engulfing yourselves in our programming initiatives. We appreciate you rocking with us for another semester as we strive to make Stockton more equitable for all by giving you a seat at the table and aiding in your finding your Stockton tribe.
La Mesa hosted 8 large-scale, campus-wide events this semester based on its four pillars of (1) Identity Exploration, (2) Cultural Immersion, (3) Student Advocacy, and (4) Leadership Development. These events brought out nearly 300 attendees and provided spaces for equity to flourish, intersectionality to be acknowledged, and a sense of belonging for all students to take precedence. Check out all of our events on Instagram here.
TLC hosted 16 events reaching over 250 attendees and collaborating with clubs, organizations, offices, and businesses within our 3 tiers of fellows like The Arc of Atlantic County, The Women’s, Gender, and Sexuality Center, and the Environmental Club. Get a recap of all the awesome stuff we’ve done on our Instagram page here.

La Mesa hosted 3 large-scale, campus-wide events this semester based on its four pillars of (1) Identity Exploration, (2) Cultural Immersion, (3) Student Advocacy, and (4) Leadership Development. These events brought out nearly 700 attendees and provided spaces for equity to flourish, intersectionality to be acknowledged, and a sense of belonging for all students to take precedence. 2020-21 was the inaugural year of the newly formed Themed Living Communities (TLC) program, but this semester - you may have noticed an increase of intentional programming due to us having a dedicated team of 5 Resident Assistants and 2 Graduate Coordinators solely responsible for taking our 7 unique houses to the next level. This semester alone the “InclusiviTEAM” hosted 23 events reaching over 900 attendees and collaborating with clubs, organizations, offices, and businesses within our 3 tiers of fellows like The Arc of Atlantic County, The Women’s, Gender, and Sexuality Center, and the Environmental Club.
